Coloured taps and water hardness The water hardness in your tap water varies depending on your location and can contain more or less lime and magnesium particles. Higher water hardness means more calcium deposits on your taps when in use. On smooth surfaces such as chrome, limescale is easy to remove, but on coloured taps and taps with a brushed finish, this can be a bit more challenging. Regular cleaning is therefore essential.

Maintenance & cleaning To keep the surface of your beautiful new taps radiant, regular cleaning is recommended. Avoid harsh detergents and abrasives with coarse particles. Clean with a soft cloth and a mild, non-abrasive detergent for best results. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth to prevent limescale and other stains.

Beautiful, high-quality finishes At Regn, all taps feature high-quality finishes. The taps in chrome and matt black have an EP (electroplating) finish, where a metal film layer is applied to the material. This makes the tap extra suitable for use in the bathroom. For the colours brushed gold, brushed copper, brushed nickel and gun metal black, a PVD staining is used. This cleaning process improves the adhesion of the ceramic coloured coating to the stainless steel, preserving its natural look.
