Coloured taps and water hardness. The water hardness of tap water varies depending on your location, with more or less lime and magnesium particles. Higher water hardness means more calcium deposits on your taps when in use. Taps with a smooth surface, such as chrome, are easy to clean, while this can be a bit more difficult with coloured taps and taps with a brushed finish. Regular cleaning is therefore important.

Maintenance & cleaning. To keep the surface of your beautiful new taps clean and radiant, regular cleaning is recommended. Do not use aggressive detergents, anti-scaling agents or abrasives with coarse particles. Clean with a soft cloth and a mild, non-abrasive detergent for best results. Then rinse and dry with a soft cloth to prevent limescale and other stains.
