PREPARE SURFACE:
Always start with a clean surface. For heavy-duty, grey or black teak, thoroughly clean with Star brite® Teak & Hardwood Cleaner/Degreaser . It does not clean the entire surface and betters the nerfs and patina of the teak, but also opens the pores of the wood, allowing the sealer to penetrate more evenly and ensure maximum adhesion and action. If it still leaves stains or black streaks, brush while the teak is wet to remove all colouring. Allow the teak to soak completely before applying the sealer.

Instructions for use:
Mix the sealer by stirring. After opening, use a mixing stick to dissolve solids at the bottom of the can while stirring. Apply with a foam brush in the direction of the wood grain, using short, even brush strokes to achieve an even finish. Continue to apply over the entire surface and only with extended natural breakpoints, i.e. as a border. One completed, apply a second coat for a similar finish.
